Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a thermal breast assessment?
Thermal breast assessment is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses heat patterns from the body to detect early signs of breast tissue abnormalities. Unlike traditional methods, it does not involve radiation or compression.

2. How is this different from a mammogram?
Mammograms use X-rays and require breast compression. Thermal breast assessment, on the other hand, uses a highly sensitive thermal camera and advanced AI analysis to capture heat signatures, making it radiation-free, pain-free, and completely safe.

3. Is the test safe for all age groups?
Yes. Since the test is non-invasive and radiation-free, it is safe for women of all ages, including younger women who are not typically recommended for mammograms.

4. Does it hurt?
Not at all. The test is completely contactless, there is no compression, no pain, and no discomfort.

5. How accurate is the assessment?
The AI-powered analysis can detect minute temperature variations and abnormal patterns that may indicate underlying concerns. It serves as an early warning tool, often identifying issues before they become visible in other methods.

6. Who should consider getting this assessment?

  • Women of any age who want a safe and comfortable breast health check

  • Women under 40 (for whom mammograms are usually not recommended)

  • Women with dense breast tissue

  • Those seeking regular preventive health monitoring

7. How long does the test take?
The entire process usually takes 15–20 minutes. Results are generated through AI analysis and reviewed by a specialist before being shared with you.

8. Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No referral is required. You can book your appointment directly with our center.

9. Is the assessment confidential?
Yes. Your test is conducted in a private setting, and all reports are kept strictly confidential.

10. How often should I get this done?
We recommend annual assessment as part of your regular preventive health care, or more frequently if suggested by your physician.

11. Can this replace a mammogram?

No. Thermal breast assessment is not a replacement for a mammogram. It is an FDA-approved adjunctive tool, meaning it is designed to complement, not replace, other assessment methods. Our AI-powered thermography can highlight specific areas of concern, helping mammograms and other diagnostic tests to be more precise and targeted.

If our assessment indicates unusual patterns, we may recommend a diagnostic mammogram (which looks more closely at specific areas) rather than a routine screening mammogram. This combined approach can provide a clearer, more accurate picture of your breast health.

12. What should I do to prepare for the test?
